The wildlife sanctuary in Dominical is an amazing sanctuary that rehabs & releases animals & then cares for those too-injured animals for the rest of their lives. I volunteered here and saw first-hand how much they care of their animals. The welfare of the animals is first and foremost. Volunteering was an excellent experience and highly recommended. One of the best things I’ve ever done! Accommodation is included and the food was excellent. Visiting the sanctuary is also a great experience. The tours are very educational and seeing the animals up close and personal is incredibly wonderful. A do-not-miss experience while in Costa Rica. The sanctuary survives on tours, volunteers and donations so please help in any way you can so this incredible place can continue helping these amazing animals.
