Morgan – Age 26, volunteered on our Environmental Education program for 6 weeks from March 2018 – May 2018.
I traveled to Puerto Jimenez to volunteer as an environmental educator for 6 weeks. I was welcomed warmly by both Janina and other volunteers and given a safe and comfortable home stay. I enjoyed the flexibility of being able to make my own hours and work as much or as little as I wanted, leaving lots of time for exploring the beautiful peninsula. Although I don’t speak Spanish, I still felt as though I was able to effectively contribute my skill set to the community. Overall, an unforgettable experience!!
