Another happy volunteer at the Organic Farming project in Costa RicaOrganic Farming on the Osa Peninsula, February 2013

From: The United States/ California

Age: 28

Richie’s Review:

GLV: How did the initial contact with green life volunteers go – did you feel like all your questions were answered and you got the right info you needed? Did you feel well informed? How did the arrival go? Did you feel taken care off by the coordinator?

Richie: GLV was extremely patient, very well informed, and quite accommodating through the whole process. Janina was committed to finding me the volunteer experience I was looking for and was successful in doing so. The entire experience was more than expected and I am thankful for GLV’s contribution to my epic Costs Rican adventure.

GLV: Were your expectations of the project met? Did you like the project?

Richie: Expectations were exceeded at Laguna Silvestre. The food was amazing, the people were welcoming and kind, and the work was rewarding.

GLV: Were there other volunteers on your project? Did you have a good time with them?

Richie: Volunteering with another traveler from a different part of the world to share the experience with made it all that much better.

GLV: Were you able to communicate well in Spanish/ Spanglish or did you have any troubles?

Richie: The communication with our hosts was an enjoyable challenge. If you want to learn a language full immersion with patient and helpful hosts is the best way to go.

GLV: Do you have any other suggestions or comments about GLV, the project, or anything else?
Hmmmm… Not really it was all pretty stellar!

Thanks Richie for such a nice review 🙂 – Green Life Volunteers’ team
